Based: primarily at schools and venues around Wiltshire and Bath to deliver training, reporting as required to our airbase in Semington, BA14 6JX.

Reports to: Emergency Awareness Training Manager

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 FTE per annum

Hours: Full or part time (subject to discussion)

Closing date: Midday Sunday 27 April, with interviews taking place on Thursday 8 May.

This role will be responsible for delivering sessions in our Emergency Awareness Training programme. The programme teaches the heroes of tomorrow skills to act in an emergency. 

As directed by your manager, the trainer will lead sessions on making a 999 call, recovery position, CPR, AED use, choking and bleeding control. 

We see this as an essential part of our wider mission in helping to save lives across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas. 

The role will involve the continuing growth of our education programme offered for primary, secondary and tertiary education establishments as well as to corporate and community supporters.

Based: Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance airbase, Outmarsh, Semington, BA14 6JX
Reports to: Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Medical Director
Salary: Commensurate with your pay band on the NHS salary scale
Hours: Part time: permanent; full time: one year in the first instance.

You will provide high quality critical care to ill and injured patients in a pre-hospital environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide education, support and mentoring to ambulance clinicians at clinical incidents. 

We are looking for candidates who are able to contribute a minimum of two programmed activities per week to our team. We operate two shifts (8am- 6pm and 5pm-3am), seven days a week, and employ a self-rostering system to cover these. We would, therefore, expect doctors to work a late shift for approximately 50% of their clinical time, and occasional weekends.
