In Your Area | Salisbury and South Wiltshire

We are your local air ambulance

Salisbury's air ambulance

Our aircrew are regularly called to incidents in Salisbury and across the South Wiltshire area, both in our helicopter and our two critical care cars.

Our airbase in Semington, near Trowbridge, is just a short flight to Salisbury and the South West. However, due to activity at Boscombe Down, sometimes we will have to make slightly longer trips to circumnavigate no-fly zones.

This includes to areas such as Amesbury and Tidworth.

Supporting your local hospital

In 2024 we transported 10 patients to Salisbury District Hospital, and launched the hospital's new helipad

Across the border in Hampshire, we also airlifted 13 patients to Southampton General Hospital.

Will's story

I owe Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity everything - they saved my life.

Will Mieville-Hawkins was involved in a road traffic collision on the A303 in Salisbury.
